During the start to a busy year where I found myself stressed (yet again) juggling/children/housewifery/study/work, I decided to invest in a series of 1 on 1 sessions with Kate as a way to help me enjoy my life rather than feeling busy and tired all the time. Through working with yoga asana practice, meditation techniques and creating a 'wellness' map for my life Kate assisted me with developing practical tools to help manage my life positively. I just want to say an enormous thank you to the beautiful Kate from A Yogafied Life. What an amazing woman. Talented, kind and so giving. I am so grateful to have found Kate and to have had the privilege of enjoying several one on one coaching sessions via Skype with her (and hopefully will continue to do so over time). I was looking for a way to find some inner calm in my busy and often stressful life and was interested in giving yoga a go. I was drawn to Kate's inspiring words on her website and the fact that I could have one on one coaching sessions in the comfort of my own home at a time that was suitable to me. I was a complete beginner so had no idea what to expect. Kate has given me so much more than just yoga asanas. Kate has given me gentle, caring guidance, personalised yoga sequences depending on my needs at the time, she has given me the amazing gift of meditation for which I will be eternally grateful and has helped me develop 'space' in my busy life to finally enjoy some inner calm. I have been seeing Kate weekly through out my pregnancy and have benefited greatly from her guidance. This is our first baby and I have been quite anxious about the labour, birth and having a new born at home. The breathing techniques and coaching I have completed with Kate has given me a lot of confidence as my new role as 'mum'.
I have tried yoga from time to time but never got the true yoga experience until i took Kate's classes. She molds every component together nicely. I wanted to increase my mobility in my hips and shoulder and found her poses and teaching style great!
I have attended a few sessions with Kate and would highly recommend her! She is friendly, easy going and her classes are calming and set at a good pace for both beginners and experienced yogi's to enjoy. After each class, I always feel my mind has been put at ease. You are awesome Kate! :)
