Unfortunately for many of us this is not how life is.

Due to the ceaseless demands on our time, the depleting nature of life, unobserved stress and anxiety can start to do real damage.  

For optimal wellbeing and health it is essential we make time to release stress from our bodies and minds.  

In this way we are able to create greater presence for our most valuable relationships and creative work.

Join Kate Southward from A Yogafied Life for a course of deeply relaxing and revitalising restorative yoga. Zen + Soften is a inspiring 7 week course hosted at Birkdale House, Birkdale.   

Aided by the support of yoga props (eye pillows, bolsters, blocks, blankets all provided) the purpose of restorative yoga is to return us to a place of balance. 

Through this life changing practice you will walk away feeling nourished from head to toe.  Come and reconnect to your natural breath and revitalise your wellbeing on all levels.     

During these seven classes you will experience Kate's guidance, deeply rejuvenating restorative asana sequences and personal meditation support.  This course will aid in metabolic healing & weight loss, proper digestion, improved quality of sleep, stress release and many more physical and psychological benefits.  

Each class will have a specific theme helping you to focus your practice and inspiring thought on how to take your yoga off the mat and in to the world.  

You will also learn about the basics of Ayurveda – the sister science of yoga.  Each class we will enjoy a beautiful hand made Ayurvedic tea which will aid in balancing our nervous systems.

Location: Birkdale House, 134 Birkdale Road
Every Thursday 7:15 - 8:25pm
Class starts August 9th and runs until September 29th 2018


(With one week break on Thursday the 6th of September) 
There are seven classes in total, over eight weeks. 

The intended nature of this course is similar to Kate's one-on-one coaching, personalised and intimate.  The course is limited to 8 students.

What to bring? 

Loose comfortable clothing.  A personal yoga mat.
